The C Your City Culture Map was a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and GOOD to help launch Mercedes-Benz 2012 C-Class Coupe. Conceived as an interactive travel guide, The Culture Map showcased intriguing spots and events in major cities around the United States. These short entries appeared on the map as location markers seen by all visitors and users.
I was commissioned to select and write up 100 locations before the project launched. I researched quirky places and events, selected images, and wrote brief descriptions. Working with the Special Projects editor and web team at GOOD, we created a map with a fun and lively tone that encouraged people to explore cities and the brand from the comfort of their computer.
When the campaign launched, I curated and edited user submissions to ensure a consistent editorial tone. I also kept track of user submissions and analytics during the month-long campaign.
